QAnon and the Conspiracy Theories

By Carlos Alberto Montaner

A high percentage of Republican voters think that there really was a massive fraud in the elections that President Trump lost in 2020 by almost seven million votes, 81-74. If that were true, those who stormed the Capitol would be patriots and not some vulgar lawbreakers convinced by Trump that the Democrats should be corrected. But that’s not true.

Let’s see.

It was an impressive fauna. Jacob Chamsley, alias Jake Angeli, entered the US Capitol through one of the windows broken by the raging crowd. He wore a curious coyote-skin helmet with two huge buffalo horns protruding from it. His face was covered by war paint in red, blue and white, the colors of the American flag. His costume was the most ostentatious. If they had had a contest, he would have won the first prize. The horns and helmet concealed his aggressive baldness. He had a kind of huge dagger tattooed on his belly, I think. He was the shaman of QAnon.

Shamans are the priests of primitive tribes. They act as healers and it is said they have supernatural powers. QAnon is a combination of one of the highest gradations of those with access to American secrets, who are assigned the Q, while Anon is a contraction of “Anonymous.” Some of the “conspiracy theories” circulating on the Internet have been signed with a mysterious letter Q.

Interestingly, Mr. Angeli had to refute one of the most astonishing conspiracy theories spread by the most rancid Trumpism –that he was, in fact, an agent provocateur placed by Antifa or Black Lives Matter rabble among right-wing patriots to sow the chaos and disorder that was seen in the Capitol on January 6.

In a tweet sent by the shaman to Lin Wood, one of Donald Trump’s lawyers, and himself an expert in spreading these rumors, Angeli explained that he had been forced to fight against those scoundrels. Without delay, he persisted in the hunger strike that he was carrying out in prison as long as the judge did not provide him with the organic food that his slender shaman body needed. Magnanimous and respectful of the defendant’s rights, the judge granted him the food that he requested.

The list of “conspiracy theories” is almost endless. They have to do with the protagonists’ importance. That is why the Jews are an inexhaustible source of rumors. Since the origin of the quarrel occurred in the synagogues, and Rome was the center of the world when the emperor Theodosius I in the fourth century declared those who disobeyed the Christian bishops of the Nicene Creed were “mad or evil,” the poor Jews began to drink children’s blood, to poison the drinking water wells, to spread the plagues and to do any evil deed that their adversaries came up with.

Since then, these vile defamations have been circulating. Anderson Cooper, CNN host and commentator (that is, the perfect definition of “enemy of the people” in those feverish minds), asked QAnon renegade Jitarth Jadeja (of Hindu origin, but American) if he really believed that he, Cooper, fed on the flesh of children after drinking their blood. Jadeja answered yes and asked for forgiveness. He explained that if you were part of a cult, you ran the risk of believing anything.

Believing, for example, that on September 11, 2001 there was a secret passivity among the military that did not respond adequately to the attack against the Twin Towers or the Pentagon.

Or to maintain that that day, what a coincidence, no Jew went to work at the Twin Towers. But the first prize goes to the denial that one of the kidnapped planes crashed into the Pentagon building “because no one has seen it.”

Is there any quick cure for those who believe in conspiracy theories? I’m afraid not. There is a reality therapy that is capable of convincing you that you are evil, and that it’s convenient for you to modify your behavior, because otherwise you will end up in prison or dead. But eliminating the kind of absurd thinking that leads you to believe in zombies or aliens that visit us doesn’t have a clear and immediate benefit.

If Donald Trump declared tomorrow that he really lost the election, there would be a deep disappointment in his ranks, but not a change in their convictions. Many would say that he was forced by the “deep state” to save his children’s lives. It would be another turn of the screw. Just that.

And how do you know that it is not true if a commission like that of the Russian Plot was never allowed to show that there was no fraud?

If it wasn’t true, why did they all refuse to prove it was a lie?

The Democrats would not have turned Trump into a political corpse if a Congressional commission, such as that of the Russian conspiracy theory; would have proven that there was no Fraud?

It will never be possible to say that those who denounce something are lying if the authorities never wanted to settle the doubts of half of the voters in this country; because the degree of uncertainty of the two hypotheses remains the same!

On January 6, 2021, the day Congress passed over half of the We the People of the United States.
And like the Castroites, when the American extreme left runs out of political arguments; They go to personal bulling, people’s religious beliefs, and personal appearance.

The other Castro technique that Montaner uses is to take isolated cases, specific cases, and label a person; to half of US voters.

There was nothing wrong with naming Biden the winner, they could have also done it to please their constituents and as long as it was not proven that he had lost, that was what he had to do; but:
Because they blame Trump, he didn’t decide anything on January 6, he had no decision-making power on January 6; those who had to decide what was best for the US were you, not Trump.
It was you, Congress, the congressmen who actually lost the last opportunity to have appointed a Special Commission, impartial, as when the conspiracy theory of the Russian Plot, which incidentally cost us more than 35 million; a serious, honest, calm Commission, that would demonstrate with exactitude that in some States the same vote by mail and the same physical vote of the 3 of November were not counted and thus put an end to the polarization in the US.
After that, those who remain dissatisfied, it is because they were not going to settle for anything.
But their irrational hatred of Trump from the first day he took office as president blinded them once again the common sense that we humans have, the sense of political consensus and that is why they lacked their civic responsibility, the responsibility they have had. other Congresses that have already gone down in history and finally to please their resentment passed over half of the American voters, who, outraged to see that what was happening, Civically and without Arms Assaulted this embarrassing Congress:
That is to say, on January 6, you, the US Congressmen, voted for the next protests, for the next marches to Washington, for more spending of police resources repressing the protesters, for more injured, for more unnecessary Democratic and Republican deaths, for more deaths of his people and for more ungovernability; samples that many radical socialists are in the chaos, in order to enact “antiterrorist” laws that further restrict the individual freedoms of the American people, that further annul the First Amendment.
It is false that Pence and the other Republican Congressmen could not also negotiate the creation of an impartial Special Commission, Russian Plot style and put an end to this at once.
If they could, it is something that is within their duties and their prerogatives when there are so many disgruntled citizens, it was also constitutional to do so, because similar precedents already existed, … even if he says that he did not have that power.
But many Republicans that day were confused, they allowed themselves to be overwhelmed, overwhelmed by the Democrats, many other Republican congressmen were lazy, lacking in commitments with their voters, that day many even betrayed their voters and with that what they have done is worse the situation; since for those of us who are delusional this will continue the same or worse and perhaps in the end they will have nothing else to do, what they should have done on January 6:
Appoint a Special Commission to lower current tensions.
      ………… ..
What those young millennial owners of these Mega Social Media do not know and who today are going with their subtle Witch Hunt against us; that sooner or later socialism will return for them too, as it happened in Cuba with the businessmen and mega media that supported Fidel.
      For example:
The director of Revista Bohemia, who, among other things, invented the 20,000 deaths of Batista to accelerate his international discredit, a magazine that had millions of readers inside and outside of Cuba; I ended up losing everything, fleeing from Socialism and committing suicide in Venezuela after not listening to anyone and realizing the mistake he had made in having contributed to further polarize his country.
In Socialism this has always happened; what you support to harm others who do not like you; In the end the rogues who used you will come back for you too.
They will see, they will see!
      Live to see!

Trust in mainstream media has dropped to an all-time low, and many news professionals are determined to do something about it.

Why It Matters: Faith in the core institutions of society, especially government and the media, is the glue that holds society together. That glue was visibly dissolving a decade ago and now, for many millions of Americans, it is completely gone.

By the numbers: For the first time in history, less than half of all Americans trust traditional media, according to Edelman’s annual trust barometer data shared exclusively with Axios. Trust in social media has reached a record low of 27%.

56% of Americans agree with the statement that “journalists and reporters deliberately try to mislead people by saying things they know to be false or gross exaggerations.”
58% think that “most news organizations are more concerned with supporting an ideology or political position than with informing the public.”
By the time Edelman polled Americans again after the election, the numbers had deteriorated further, with 57% of Democrats relying on the media and only 18% of Republicans.

You have not understood what happened:
In the 2016 elections, when we realized that the media had been kidnapped, like in Cuba, we went to the Social Media.
To our amazement, we saw that the Democrats were doing nothing to seek leaders, but was wasting their time by stumbling Trunnp.
About 8 months before the 2020 elections; They started banning those of us who supported Trunnp in Social Media little by little, but in such a way that it seemed normal.
As the bell went on, that reached millions.
In other words, it became clear that not only the traditional media dominated, but the Social Media.
That made us not have time to react this time.
Here in the US in two years there are elections to the House and the Senate.
If we do not find another way to communicate, the same thing will happen to us and they will also know our strategies.
That is why I said it would be good in the end if they block us; because that will help us to create other ways of communicating in these two years.
Throughout the history of humanity, human beings always in these cases, even prisoners under permanent surveillance, find ways to communicate that their jailers cannot control.
This time it will be no different.
The experience of the Cubans who fight against the castros is that you will never succeed using the enemy’s means.

Dozens of people who appear on the FBI terrorist lists were in Washington DC on January 6, the day of the violent takeover of Congress that left 5 dead, The Washington Post reported.
And how do they explain that there was not a terrorist act?
Heck we need more terrorists like that.
But if even the Congressmen when they left they would open the door to the “terrorists” and then they continued their course with the greatest naturalness in this world.
Because everyone knows that Trunnp followers are not terrorists!
Therefore, what many are saying is demonstrated once again; Since the FBI got into politics, it stopped doing its job, it began to persecute innocents, to harass political activists and its protocols to identify real Terrorists are toys.
Does the FBI really have any fucking idea what a terrorist is and how a terrorist acts?
What you seem to want is to take the Americans as fools and help the Democrats to further polarize American society.

The worst mistake Social Medias have made; It is to have interfered in political censorship of voters; In the end this will be a boomerang that little by little will come over them and will end the low profile they had, the growth and the entrepreneurial freedom that they had enjoyed until now.
I tell them that as my friends say I am a fortune teller, they have acted very badly, they are very badly advised and they will pay dearly for that.
By the way, the consequences of having gotten into politics against the voter and not remaining impartial, neutral as they were before are beginning to be seen.

We are not paranoid, it is true that they were coordinated illegal actions:
Time magazine has published a detailed account of what it describes as a “conspiracy” between “left-wing activists and business titans” to create “an extraordinary shadow effort” to “protect” the 2020 presidential election.
The strategy got people to choose to vote by mail instead of voting in person, and it secured hundreds of millions of dollars in public and private funds.
They also created pressure on social media to target what the Democrats called disinformation. Likewise, they promoted their narratives to the population regarding vote counting, in order to invalidate any attempt by Trump to brand the process as a fraud.
After the elections, according to Ball, the only thing left to do was ensure that the former Republican president could not annul the electoral result.
The letter explains that agreements between companies and workers were part of a campaign to protect the elections. It was not focused on winning the vote, but rather on maintaining the security, credibility and freedom of the process.
(Coincidentally, the effect was the opposite, a country more divided than ever …).
He claimed that it was all orchestrated by Mike Podhorzer, chief adviser to the president of the American Federation of Labor and the Congress of Industrial Organizations, one of the most influential unions in the country and is linked to Joe Biden.
According to the document, Podhorzer held back-to-back meetings with his progressive contacts: Planned Parenthood, Greenpeace, Indivisible, MoveOn, progressive geeks and data strategists, representatives of foundations and activists for racial justice.
Similarly, he explains that they influenced Congress to secure funding for mail-in ballots. Only a quarter of US voters went to the polls in person.
Why did they need the vote by mail more than anything and that those votes by mail will be counted after November 3?
Because it is the way that it did not take time to compare it with the physical vote and it was never known if millions of people who had already voted by mail, also due to confusion; they voted physically.
In addition, they persuaded Mark Zuckerberg to donate hundreds of millions of dollars to support the election administration. Zuckerberg has been accused multiple times by Republican spokesmen of allowing and promoting the censorship of right-wing views on Facebook.
Another strategy was to pressure the platforms to remove any content that created what the leftists considered “disinformation” regarding the outcome of the elections, even when multiple instances of irregularities and electoral fraud were verified, such as the case of Raquel Rodriguez, who was exposed by Project Veritas and later arrested.
Although it is not mentioned in the letter, the alarm that the New York Post set off, and for which technology companies and former intelligence officials were vigilant in October, is notable for the laptop of Hunter Biden, son of the current president.
They called it “Russian disinformation.” Some time later, what was previously just a “story” was confirmed: Hunter Biden is under investigation by the FBI.
    ……… ..
Old squabbles aside, the US Chamber of Commerce chose to ally with the AFL-CIO to deny the fraud attacks. According to Ball, a group of Republicans supported the decision.
The last order was to withdraw all activity after Biden positioned himself, solidly, as the winner of the election.
Furthermore, the group led by Podhorzer made sure that on the day of the “Stop the Steal” demonstration on January 6 there were few counter-protesters. Thus they ensured that all the blame would be thrown on Trump.

Million dollar lawsuit against Fox News: an electoral technology company accuses the chain of defamation.
-A lot of demand, a lot of noise, … but at this point no one knows who these companies are, what their origin is, where they came from, who created their software, what makes their software and why they reasoned the choices of the world’s leading power ( in technologies they are also); The voting machines are put or do they have to be put by companies from other countries, with the loss of sovereignty that this implies?

-Nor does anyone explain how it is said that the results of the elections in the US go to Germany, or to a foreign country, or to a CIA base; a non-civil institution, which is archived even in front of the US Congress that it has violated the laws of this country, which has no scruples or to torture.
Why are those electoral results not guarded in American territory, by civilians with a better record of decency and honesty?

-Because there are states that can say they counted millions of electoral votes sent by mail days after election day, without staining them against the physical votes cast on November 3. As it is known that there are not millions of duplicate votes. Obviously, millions of votes cannot be stained by mail, with the physical vote when dozens of suitcases arrive every day after the election.
What electoral coherence and respect do these states have, those special laws that states like Texas and Florida that comply with good electoral practices do not respect?

-Those are some little things, but there is much more that tells us that the Federal Constitution is either obsolete for modern times or we must once again admit that voting is a privilege and not a duty; so that the vote that arrives after the schools close is not taken into account again.

“…find a comfortable place to sit, and write down all the concerns floating through your mind. Don’t worry how they read – this is just for you.

      Take action:

Create a list of concerns on the left side of the page, and then across from that, on the right, list one or more possible solutions.

Breaking down concerns into solutions with bite sized steps makes them feel much more manageable.

Don’t feel you have to fix or solve everything immediately. The goal is just to get your concerns out of your mind before you climb into bed so they don’t swirl through your mind at night

“ …what Amazon founder Jeff Bezos didn’t do. He didn’t try to build a hub-and-spoke model that was better than Walmart’s, nor did he try to make the claim of selling goods at the lowest possible prices. Instead, he chose to compete with Walmart through remarkable customer service and a next-day, deliver-anywhere model—both of which Walmart could not follow through with in time.
To beat something as big as Walmart, a startup needs to set its own rules of the game. Build something the incumbent doesn’t have, and then make that the thing they’re judged by.”
